Hello, Bernd here, with my first ever review at Lay Back And Get Rich… And I’ve been getting to grips with the Soccer Streaks system.
Soccer Streaks is a fairly recent system that, according to its makers, underwent years of development until it was released in its current form.
The concept is to back low risk favourites with stakes that increase together with winnings and benefit from long streaks of winning bets.
Through the concept of compounding, fairly remarkable results are possible in a relatively short time in spite of the low odds – as long as the extremely high strike rate can be maintained.
The centrepiece of the strategy revolves around a set of ‘golden rules’ by which the system defines eligible selections.
Without wanting to give too much away, the Soccer Streaks rules narrow games with a strong favourite down, by a set of criteria that involve recent good form of the favourite and recent poor form of the underdog, together with a few other criteria.
Unsurprisingly, thus far in my trial, this has created a very high strike rate.
More amazingly however, after only about 20 bets, the starting bank of 60 points has skyrocketed to 165.47 points!
The results would have been even more impressive if I didn’t have to rely on bookies that charge me 5-10% tax for playing from Germany, but this is hardly the fault of the system.
Here are the selections so far, with odds realized and results obtained:
|Date||Favourite||Bookie||Stake||Odds||If Won||If Lost||Result||Profit/Loss||Current Balance|
The profit performance chart is also very promising.
There are two membership levels:
- The purchase of the guidebook with which one may hunt for selections that fit the criteria, or
- The VIP subscription service in which the team sends you all the selections that were available for the given day.
I do appreciate this flexibility but cannot imagine many people wanting to invest huge amounts of time into a search that may very well yield no qualifying selection on a given day.
Systems with a high strike rate have a broad appeal as they usually allow for calmer betting, so this is a definite plus for Soccer Streaks.
I also like the convenience with which this straightforward tipster-like service sends the selections of the day directly to its VIP members’ inbox well in advance, usually the night before, along with an Excel sheet to log the results.
They also dig really deep for the selections. As the major leagues are not yet underway, many of them are from lower Scandinavian leagues with the occasional outsider such as the Peruvian Premier League, or the first division of Thailand’s football. Thumbs up there!
Also, the support thus far has been excellent. While the system is very straightforward, the team respond to inquiries very quickly and also send out mails to the community on current events (such as concerns regarding the staking plan) or with additional information or options so that the system may fit a player’s particular risk appetite and habits.
Brilliant results such as those above leave little room to complain.
However, the real value of a system such as Soccer Streaks will only reveal itself in the longer run, as is the nature of high-strike rate systems. How reliable are these golden rules and will they create extravagant long term returns as promised?
The website comes across as a bit too much of a sales-pitch, which I am personally not a big fan of.
Then again, it is results that speak for or against a system so I suppose one can overlook it.
Now this is something that will make or break the system in the eyes of many hopeful soccer-streakers: the staking plan is extremely risky.
While the risk of losing any given bet is fairly small, the plan suggests to stake one third(!) of the entire bank on each selection!
While this does take full advantage of the compounding effect, it may also completely wipe out the entire bank on a day with 3 selections and 3 losers.
The creators of the system (correctly) point out that this is highly unlikely, but Martingale is also a system that generates excellent profits, unless it too wipes out the bank…
Also, as is the nature of favourites backing, it takes several winning bets following a loser to redeem a single lost stake.
With a staking plan such as this one, it may take even longer, as it is prone to always lose when the bank is at its highest, while then drastically decreasing the stakes during catch-up.
Soccer Streaks has sent around a dummy results log spreadsheet to allow users to test out what long-term winnings are possible with different starting banks, odds and strike rates.
The Excel sheet makes clear that, should the system deliver on its promises, the results can be absolutely mind-blowing over the longer term.
- I have used the Soccer Streaks log myself to record my own results and attach it here.
What the spreadsheet also shows however, is that the strike rate needs to be exceptionally high for this to work.
According to my tinkering, it needs to be anywhere around 83-85%, depending on the eventual average odds.
Despite my earlier criticism of the system and its potential shortcomings, I am thus far extremely excited with the system and consider myself a very happy triallist.
Excellent support, easy betting and remarkable results make for one heck of a (and rather profitable) trial which I hope can continue.
I’ll be back with another report around the middle of September.
In the meantime, you can find out more about Soccer Streaks here.
