Miles Ahead Racing Review

The positive spell of results in month two of my Miles Ahead Racing trial didn't last long and I lost a further £166.80 in the third month.

That makes it £238.80 to £10 stakes lost for the whole trial, or a 23.9% reduction to my bank.

It seems that the service has flatlined in the past 12 months as the total profit achieved is around the same as it was in May 2021.

I believe the results from Tipsters Empire to be trustworthy and the advised prices were available in most cases, so their reported cumulative profit of £1,710 and an ROI of 10.5% is not to be sniffed at.

The issue is, when factoring in membership fees I would have lost money in the past year subscribing to the service.

Summary

One of the difficult things about trialling tips services is trying to make a judgement in a small space of time.

The results in the long-term are one of the most important things and whether the advertised results can be trusted. In this case I believe that they can.

With that in mind, I think that a neutral rating is the best option for this service.

While the tipster has clearly been struggling with results in the past year, he does offer a high quality service with detailed descriptions to go with every tip. Perhaps with some adjustments to his selection methods he can deliver some better results.

Update Two: 19th March 2022

It was a much better set of results for Miles Ahead Racing this month and I came away with £97.50 profit and return on investment of 15.48%.

There were 22 bets that either won or placed out of a total of 63 which was a big improvement on the strike rate last month.

I am still a bit away from being in profit on the whole, so I am hoping this good form continues into next month.

Summary

It's great to see the service bounce bank from some poor results in the first month of my trial. I hope to see some more winners in the next month to start building that profit up.

Update One: 19th February 2022

My trial of Miles Ahead Racing hasn't got off to the bright start that I had hoped for and my bank is down by 17%.

The tips have been at a range of odds but it just goes to show, even when betting on the lower priced horses there can still be horrible streaks of losing bets.

Other than the results, all other aspects of the service have been fine so far.

Summary

I hope to see the tide turn next month and get my trial back on track and out of the red.

Introduction: 18th January 2022

I have been blown away by the high standard of tipping services at Tipsters Empire, so I cannot wait to trial their latest addition, Miles Ahead Racing.

The tipster has been involved with various betting related websites, writing the odd article here and there, but it was when he entered and won a tipping competition that he realised he had more to offer.

He began running his own tips service and over the past decade has worked on exploring different angles and evolving his betting approach.

His main focus now is betting on sprint races as this gives him the right amount of races to find opportunities without being overstretched.

Statistics for Miles Ahead Racing:

  • £2,008 Profit (£10 per pt)
  • £120 Monthly Profit
  • 28.35% Win Rate
  • 14.56% ROI
  • 200.8% Bank Growth

He sends tips out between 10.00 - 11.00am when prices are usually at their most stable, without any need to rush to get bets on.

On average there are 2 - 3 bets per day during Winter and 3 - 4 in Summer, depending on the schedule.

I have set up my £1,000 starting bank and I will be tracking results for the next three months at a minimum.

I'm looking forward to getting started with this one and I will be back in February with my first report.

  1. Whenever you see percentages and ROI instead of real money terms you know it’s a joke because 100% of nothing is bugger all at least that’s what I was taught.

    1. I’m not sure I agree with this John. Knowing the ROI gives you a much better understanding of the service than if they just gave a profit figure.

As an example, they could say the service made £500 profit at 100% ROI… sounds good right? But that could just be 1 x £500 bet winning at evens… not so good. It’s important to get the full picture.
