It really is remarkable just how many betting systems are out there.
Every time I think I’m running out of inspiration for a new trial, a new one just seems to pop into my inbox.
Today has been a case in point. I received an email from a regular reader called Helge, a Norwegian fellow who is super-keen for Lay Back to test his product.
He asked so politely I couldn’t really say no.
So let me welcome you to my new trial of… Any Other Win!
Any Other Win is positioned as a low-risk football trading system.
It aims at a strike rate of around 85% so we can be pretty confident we won’t have to put up with dispiriting losing runs.
A quick glance at the claimed results log on the sales page for February 2017 reveals no fewer than 89 winners from 104 selections: which indeed works out at a shade over 85%.
The method is designed to be easy to use, so much so that trades can even be completed on a smartphone, wherever you happen to be.
It also appears that all trades are conducted on a single market – Correct Score – so, presumably, I will be able to enter all my bets using the Betfair mobile app.
I therefore fully expect to find that this is very much Trading for Beginners. Though I note that the sales page does also offer a more ‘aggressive’ method for more advanced users.
I really like the idea of trading on my smartphone.
There still aren’t anywhere near enough mobile-based betting services; possibly because they do need to be kept simple.
Any Other Win have stepped into this vacant space and, I have to admit, I am quite excited.
So how have I been getting on so far?
This straightforward system involves trading games from all over the world.
Each day, you receive a list of matches to bet on and then place up to two bets on each one, depending on how matters proceed.
This means that quite a few games never actually become live trades: as you do need events in-play to conform to certain parameters first.
All of which has a number of implications:
1. I don’t foresee there being a shortage of matches to trade during the close season. There seems always to be football being played somewhere and AOW doesn’t appear to be too fussy about where it draws its selections from.
2. You do need to make time for this service. I found that matches can occur throughout the day which, in practice, won’t suit everyone. I must confess, it didn’t really suit me (about which, more in a moment).
3. You need to have a smartphone with you to carry out the trading. The bets you place require no special software; but do involve being available and prepared to act whenever you receive a prompt.
I carried out five live trades in my first week with the system and then, I must confess, realised I simply don’t have the time to test this.
They were all profitable as follows:

You will notice that I am using very small amounts of money.
This was primarily for risk management reasons. But I also realised that sometimes the Correct Score market – which is the one that this service trades – can be highly illiquid.
This is something we will need to an eye on in future.
This is a service that does require the user to be very available. So, following my first few trades, I paused the trial whilst I search high and low for a triallist who is able to do it justice.
In the meantime, you can read more about Any Other Win here.
