Our first week with DreamLays produced no less than 41 selections, all at BSPs below 3.0 as specified by the tipster. And I have to say, it’s been an encouraging start.
Working with a starting balance of £5,000, we are tracking four different balances, all of which have moved north in the first seven days. And only a poor final day was the difference between a good opening week and a truly sensational one.
The strike rate has also been an encouraging 61%, which is more than satisfactory at these price levels. Some of the prices we have taken have been very short indeed, with no less than 15 being at below 2.0 – so a strike rate over 60% is commendable.
The new balances are as follows:
- £100 Fixed Liability – £5,906
- £100 Fixed Stake – £5,488
- 2% Fixed Liability – £5,924
- 2% Fixed Stake – £5,459
Other first impressions have been equally positive. The Dreamlays product and website are easy enough to use. Members simply log into a passworded page and copy down that day’s selections. You then put the bets on at Betfair SP, but stipulate a price of 3.0 or below – which means in practice that Betfair drops over half the selections at the off.
My original hope that I might get 2 or 3 hundred selections in a month seems somewhat forlorn now, but we might yet get 150, which is a decent enough start.
