Well what a response !
After having read all my concerns about our recent run last time, when I even concluded by describing the week to come as “important”, the ZH Banker tipster duly delivered six straight winners to get our trial firmly back on track. It’s been wonderful to watch, and has reaffirmed my confidence in this product.
I did point out last week that losing is (unfortunately) a necessary stop on the road to betting success, and sometimes, being able to accept those losses is all that separates winners from losers. Well, the week just gone has provided an object lesson in this moral.
The latest balances, against a starting bank of £1000, therefore now stand as follows:
- Win Market – Level £20 Stake – £1,155.00 (up £74.86 this week)
- Win Market – 2% ratchet – £1,145.30 (up £82.04)
- Place Market – Level £20 Stake – £993.50 (up £23.94 from last time)
- Place Market – 2% ratchet – £989.14 (up £23.35)
All figures are based on Betfair SP, and assume 5% commission. We have now placed 80 bets, and the strike rate has increased to 56.25%.
The complete results spreadsheet covering the entire trial is attached here.
It is still a bit early to draw firm conclusions, but with only twenty bets to go until we reach the 100 bet milestone, I think we can agree it’s been very encouraging so far.
What pleases me most is that so many of the winners, in my opinion, are boring. This is a sign of strength in a good Banker system. We are not landing any big fish here, but instead filling the freezer full of modest-sized mackerel!
You shouldn’t underestimate systems like ZH Banker. On the contrary, this increasingly looks like investing not gambling.
