Here comes Wimbledon – so it’s time to make some money

You know how it is.

One day, it’s this betting product.   Next day, it’s that one.

Or maybe it’s a new laying technique you’ve found.   Or a particularly neat way of scalping the football markets.

Every sports investor, I believe, is prone to it, to some degree.   The latest flavour of the week…. when we only have eyes for our newest discovery, our current glorious, shining idea!

And I don’t think it’s all about the Ferraris or the blondes.   (well, certainly not the blondes in my case..).     I think it’s about the idea – the bettor’s dream -  that we could crack what sales squeeze pages routinely call the Betfair code.

Now – you might think I would be (perhaps that ought to read, “should be”) immune to this kind of thing.

After all, I see new products ALL the time.    And it’s true… you do get a bit hardened to them.      (Check out what I had to say about False Favourites for this effect – damned with “worthy but dull”, I seem to recall).

And of course, deep down I know – have always known – that only a portfolio approach will work.

We need a robust package of systems for all seasons, and it should be wrapped up in sensible bankroll management, and robust staking plans.

Yadda yadda yadda.

All that does occasionally sound a teeny bit dull, don’t you think?

You know what's coming...

Wimbledon is coming

Yep… Wimbledon is coming… and with it, the chance to hammer Total Tennis Trading hard.

For this (if I am honest) is a system that has got even to me.

Now we (by which I mean, Nuno and I) haven’t tested it much on the site yet.

And poor ol’ overworked Nuno keeps letting unimportant stuff like his degree get in the way.    But the results achieved to date have been extraordinary.

Could this be that shining, killer system?

Or is it all “too good to be true“?

Two Great Things About Wimbledon

One of the things that’s always bothered me about tennis trading is the vague suspicion that, at some obscure event on a clay court in St Moritz for instance, the favourite isn’t really trying that hard.

But he’s still (unknowingly) playing with my money.

All that flying round the globe and staying in fine hotels and signing autographs for doe-eyed admirers; well, I’m sure they all enjoy that part of it.   But surely some of the actual events must seem a little humdrum?

For let’s be honest, the Lucerne Ladies Open (if there is one!?) is hardly going to make the headlines, is it?

But Wimbledon is different.

Everyone cares about Wimbledon… even people who never notice tennis all year round.   So all those favourites will be giving every last ounce of effort, to make me that bit richer..

The other great thing about Wimbledon is you can watch it free, on terrestrial TV.

Not in some poky little video box on a bookie’s site.    Or even on satellite, with its scary “trader’s lag”.    But with the good ol’ BBC.

The next fortnight is a sports trader’s dream.

I intend to spend it with Total Tennis Trading.   It’s beautifully packaged, it’s a fair price, it’s backed by Clickbank.com, and it’s making me money.
