Hello there, it’s Nuno again, and I am still testing Total Tennis Trading. My initial experiences with the product are documented here, and days 1 & 2 here.
The 2 Euro Challenge continues…
Balance brought forward - 101,80€
Date - 08/06/2012
Matches traded - 1 (Ferrer vs Nadal )
Profit/Loss – +0,13
TTT Method(s) Used - KISS method (one of the Beginners’ Strategies)
Amount staked & amount at risk - Stake 2€ and the amount at risk was 0,20€, but soon the green was there!!
How long did the trade take? - Less than 20 minutes
Did you feel you were in danger of losing money at any point and if so, what did you do? - No danger of losing money. The match followed the textbook exactly, so I was able to trade out quickly.
Balance to carry forward - 101,93€
I also did a KISS trade on a woman’s game between Sharapova and Errani, but that isn’t allowed within the system rules, so I have agreed with Lucy that I will not count it. Which is a shame because I greened out in the first 2 games, and made +0,20€ in 15 minutes, with only a risk of 0,28€. However, the system clearly states that the KISS approach is for the men’s game only so Lucy is right.
I have still had no losing trades. I am sure they will come, because it happens with all systems, but so far the trial has gone extremely smoothly. However, it makes it difficult to add a lot of additional information, as there is so little to discuss when a trial goes so well!

Nuno
Thank you for your latest post.
I’m hoping to try a few tennis trades myself this week, and noticed that most matches in the coming few days are quite everyday affairs – e.g. ATP or WTA games.
Is the system, in your view, suitable for use on minor tournaments as well as the big competitions like the French Open? Or is it too early to say yet?

Hi Lucy,
I haven´t see the games but it all depends on the liquidity and odds.
I will see later and post here the games that can be traded.
Nuno
Hi.
Yesterday games were not suitable to trade because of low liquidity.
Regards.
i have purchased these systems recently and have had similar results finding very few losers. watching tennis over the years you notice alot of the bigger players will sometimes not preform so well in minor tournaments, preferring an early exit oppose to fighting back against a tricky opponent. strategy’s involving favorites winning or fighting back are probably best left for big tourneys or latter stages of minor events, i imagine this would vastly increase your strike rate.

Gooner,
Nice to see you again.
I really am warming to tennis trading. When it works, it seems almost magical… “too good to be true” (though this is a concept I struggle with!).
Poor ol’ Nuno is drowning in his studies at the moment and maybe away for a day or two – and therefore is not making money! So I thought I’d give one of the TTT methods a go myself this morning – safely picking an important match per your steer – and dropped £50 on Ferrer versus Petzschner, via the KISS method. I locked in £5.23 in a shade under four minutes!
(I didn’t green up though as I prefer not to on favourites.)
Clearly, Wimbledon represents a real opportunity, with all the favourites putting in an honest shift. I will be definitely be doing more tennis trading over the next 2 weeks and will report back on progress here.

Nuno has had to take some time off to complete his exams but will be back to resume the trial w/c 9th July, 2012
Nuno has emailed me to confirm he is now on the Algarve!!! However he will be back within a week. Then we’ll get going again
I can’t really complain, I’m on a Cypriot sunbed myself!

Unfortunately, further to my comments above, and for personal reasons that have nothing to do with the trial, Nuno is unable to continue with it….
I’m really disappointed about this, but on the plus side, I have found a new tester called Mike who has just finished reading through all the TTT manuals and documented his first impressions at length here.
Actual testing will restart at next week’s US Open.
