After two difficult weeks, ZH Banker has responded rather wonderfully since Monday, with five winners out of seven. As is becoming a consistent theme, the Win balances progressed impressively, whilst Place staking delivered trivial returns. The Betfair SPs available for the Place market appear too low to permit growth.
The latest balances, against a starting bank of £1000, stand as follows:
- Win Market – Level £20 Stake – £1,183.91 (up from £1117.70 last time)
- Win Market – 2% ratchet – £1,184.73 (up from £1110.78)
- Place Market – Level £20 Stake – £996.60 (as opposed to £987.91)
- Place Market – 2% ratchet – £993.51 (versus £985.20)
All figures are based on Betfair SP, and assume 5% commission. We have placed 55 bets.
The strike rate remains slightly below the level I’d originally expected, at 58.2%. This indicates a slightly more aggressive tipping style than the Banker moniker might initially suggest.
