Well, I suppose we had to have a bit of a setback with ZH Banker eventually, with our excellent run coming to a somewhat shuddering halt. Fortunately, a win at Stratford this afternoon gave us our second win out of five since last time, and recovered some of the lost ground.
The latest balances, after 42 bets, against a starting balance of £1000, now stand as follows:

- Win Market – 2% ratchet – £1137.45
- Place Market – Level £20 Stake – £1014.61
- Place Market – 2% ratchet – £1012.30.
All figures are based on Betfair SP, and assume 5% commission.
It is of course unrealistic to imagine we will not experience losing weeks. Progress with any successful ‘turf investment strategy’ can be expected to mimic a typical positive share price graph, with plenty of ups and downs along the way, but the ultimate destination still worth the journey.
