The ZeroHype Banker tipster Alex has spent most of this week sending apologetic emails about how “quiet” things are, and how he’s trying to resist the temptation to tip for the sake of it. This can be a problem with a paid-for service: after all, if you receive no tips, what are you paying for?
Well, Alex gets 10 out of 10 from me this week, particularly as he picked a beauty in Mizwaaj, who won yesterday’s 3.15 @ Lingfield, at a BSP of 5.08 in a 14 horse contest. The all-weather track at Lingfield is probably not a bad place to be looking for bankers at the moment – the heavy surface at Nottingham certainly not helping yesterday’s other tip, Uncomplicated, who came home second.
All of which means that we made positive progress yet again across all 4 balances, though the Win balances continue to forge ahead. Long may our tipster continue to use such self-control!
The latest balances, after 37 bets, against a starting balance of £1000, now stand as follows:
- Win Market – Level £20 Stake – £1162.65
- Win Market – 2% ratchet – £1164.15
- Place Market – Level £20 Stake – £1021.50
- Place Market – 2% ratchet – £1019.53.
All figures are based on Betfair SP, and assume 5% commission.
One final thought – Although many of my pages are seeing record high levels of traffic – and I am pretty sure already that May 2012 will be my busiest month to date – this particular thread isn’t getting much attention! I love arb alarms as much as anyone gents, but do give a thought to the appeal of slow burners… There is a long way to go with this trial admittedly, but finding a killer banker service would be the Holy Grail of betting.
